What Can I Expect at My First Visit?
A positive, pleasant experience! We’ll reserve an hour for your hygiene visit and comprehensive exam*. Please bring your completed new patient forms with you. A friendly staff member will review your paperwork and ask about the reasons for your visit.
Your dentist will assess your existing dental work for wear, check the health of your gums, and use a non-invasive DIAGNOdent laser to scan your teeth for decay. You’ll also receive an oral cancer screening with our state-of-the-art VELscope. This high-tech tool uses a special light to identify suspicious mouth lesions that require follow-up. During your exam, we will use an intraoral camera to take pictures of your teeth and gums. The dentist will display these images on your chairside monitor, then explain his findings and suggested therapies.
*Scheduled hygiene treatment is performed at a new patient visit only if no gum disease is present.
Payment Options
You can pay for your dental care with cash, a personal check, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover. Third-part financing, often at low or no interest for qualified applicants, is available through CareCredit, CitiHealth Card, and Wells Fargo Health Advantage. Please see their websites for details.
